Gynecologist / Surgery
When medication and other gynecology procedures are unable to relieve symptoms, surgery remains the accepted and most effective treatment for a range of gynecologic conditions. These include, but are not limited to, cervical and uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, uterine prolapse, or excessive bleeding.
Traditional “open gynecologic surgery”, using a large incision for access to the uterus and surrounding region, has been the standard approach for too many gynecologic procedures. However, these procedures result in more pain and discomfort, longer recovery, and potential impact on nearby organs and nerves.
For women facing gynecologic surgery, there are new, advanced options thanks to minimally invasive procedures. In some cases, our board-certified and experienced gynecologist can access these regions through a vaginal approach or a series of very tiny abdominal incisions. These laparoscopic and robotically perfected techniques offered at IWHC provide women with a fast recovery and excellent clinical outcomes.

On the other spectrum middle age can be very difficult hormonally with menopause, and bladder control. IWHC does specialize in hormone replacement therapy and various other aspects regarding post childbirth: prolapse, pelvic floor, breasts, and even your skin.
